Menus at The Spice Enterprise

The menus at the Spice Enterprise reflect clearly the passion for food, vast experience and pedigree training of the team of chefs who develop them.

At The Spice Enterprise, the menus take you on a mouth watering journey to experience a distinct array of tastes and flavours. They are a stunning combination of traditional favourites from different parts of India and some rare and unusual specialities evolved over the years as a result of cross cultural influences on Indian food around the globe. ‘It is not true that Indian cuisine is created using only age old recipes passed on from one generation to the other.’ explains owner Urvesh Bhagudia who launched this restaurant in 2007, ‘In fact, we strongly believe that Indian cuisine has been evolving constantly over the years by influencing and at the same time getting influenced by other great cuisines of the world. And this is what we want to reflect in our menu.’

There is plenty to please the traditional curry fans like Korma, Jalfrezy and of course nation’s favourite Indian dish, Chicken Tikka Masala. But the real attraction is some unusual speciality dishes like Masala Grilled Fish, Aromatic Grilled King Prawns, Tava Lamb, Lamb Kolhapuri, Fish Moolee, Ginger Lemon Chicken, Duck Jardaloo, Chilli Mustard Pineapple which take the menu on a different level than most of our rivals. In addition, every week our Head Chef presents a different ‘signature dish of the week’, specially created to bring out the distinct flavours and fragrances of the ingredients used.

Care and attention is taken in every area of the menu whether it is a starter, main course or accompaniment. The wine list includes organic and Fairtrade wines and it is prepared thoughtfully to complement the food.
